A **visor** is the part of a bot that serves as its face. They can include a //faceplate// of (darkened) transparent material to see out of and/or display expressions, and a //snoot//, a protrusion on the front that can be booped.

Visors can be a custom design, or they can be modded out of other kinds of masks such as full-face respirators. As a bonus, respirators have filters for getting rid of annoying smells and viruses. The 3M 6000 series of respirators (or their cheap knockoffs) has become a relatively popular choice to base visors on.
